Srila Gurudev Disappearance Day
On this auspicious day, we remember the divine departure of Srila Gurudev, a beloved disciple of Srila Prabhupada, who dedicated his life to spreading the teachings of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and the holy names of Krishna.
Srila Gurudev's life was one of purity, simplicity, and unwavering devotion. He inspired countless devotees with his deep understanding of Srila Prabhupada’s books, his dedication to the Sankirtana movement, and his emphasis on the importance of sadhu-sanga (association with pure devotees).
His Divine Grace left this world on February 9, 1996, while narrating the pastime of Lord Krishna returning to Vrindavan in the form of Lord Jagannath, and thus entered into the divine lila of Lord Krishna.
Join us at ISKCON Bhubaneswar, IRC Village, Nayapalli, on February 17, 2025, for a day of remembrance, kirtan, and devotional reflections to honor Srila Gurudev's eternal presence and teachings.
