Sri Nityananda Trayodashi Celebration
Sri Nityananda Trayodashi marks the auspicious appearance day of Sri Nityananda Prabhu, the eternal companion of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.
On this day, devotees observe fasting until noon and participate in various celebratory events that honor Sri Nityananda’s divine mercy. It is a day of devotional songs, kirtans, and seeking blessings from Lord Nityananda for spiritual progress.
Sri Nityananda Prabhu, the incarnation of Lord Balarama, is the embodiment of mercy and compassion. His blessings are essential to understanding the Supreme Lord Krishna, and devotees believe that through His mercy, they can gain the strength to engage in devotional service.
This festival is celebrated with a grand procession, kirtans, and the offering of special prayers and aratis. The devotees at ISKCON Bhubaneswar, IRC Village, Nayapalli will host a vibrant celebration on February 10, 2025, which will include a special abhisheka, arati, and prasadam distribution.
Join Us for the Celebrations
The festivities at ISKCON Bhubaneswar will begin with a panchamrita abhisheka to Lord Nitai Gauranga, followed by a special arati and devotional songs.
Devotees are invited to participate in these events from 11:30 AM onward. The day will be filled with blissful kirtans, a Shayana Arati, and the Shayana Pallakki Utsava, which are part of the traditional celebrations of Sri Nityananda's appearance day.
